According to reports, Mpumalanga Black Aces goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane will be joining Orlando Pirates in a swap-deal involving defender Tshepo Gumede and young goalkeeper Samora Motloung.

It has been reported that Felipe Ovono is on the verge of leaving the Buccaneers, which opens doors for Mabokgwane to re-unite with his former coach Muhsin Ertugal at Pirates.

“Ovono is likely to leave, which opens the door for Mabokgwane and that’s why he (Mabokgwane) is still in Gauteng and not in Cape Town,” said a Sowetan source.

Black Aces has relocated down to Cape Town following the purchase of the team by John Comitis, and some of their players have already moved to the Mother City.
