Mabhudi Khenyeza’s future is still in limbo, and the striker is said to be considering retirement to focus on his coaching studies.

According to a source close to the former Golden Arrows player, he was hoping the team would axe coach Clinton Larsen,  with whom he had a huge fall-out last season leading to his departure.

But with the team saying Larsen is going nowhere, Khenyeza is said to be hoping that Serame Letsoaka will call him up to Bloemfontein Celtic.

“If Letsoaka doesn’t offer him a contract, he will retire,” said a source. Khanyeza, 34, scored two goals in 14 games last season.
