The Adopt a Park initiative aims to improve an open green space that features two spruits running through it. This area is a lovely park that lends itself to running, walking, cycling, and children’s playgrounds.
The goal is to clear the park of invasive vegetation and make it cleaner and safer for both the community and visitors to enjoy. Residents are encouraged to join the ERA, as membership fees will help fund this project and promote more frequent use of the park once it is revitalised and made more user-friendly.

To enhance community engagement, the ERA is changing the format of the meeting to minimise speeches and allow more time for residents to debate and collaborate on developing action plans for the issues they prioritise. This shift reflects the ERA’s commitment to fostering a responsive and involved community.
Residents are urged to mark their calendars for this important meeting on October 9 and participate in the discussions surrounding the future of their local park.
