Woman stabbed to death in her home

A woman has been killed after she was stabbed multiple times in her residence in Kempton Park, on the East Rand.

“ER24 paramedics were alerted to the incident by the local community and arrived on the scene at about 11pm on Monday,” said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.

“Upon arrival, ER24 paramedics were led into the bedroom by local authorities. The body of a woman was found lying on the bed, her hands handcuffed together. She was assessed and found to have sustained numerous stab wound and showed no signs of life. Several knives were found, still in the woman’s body,” Meiring added.

Unfortunately, the woman had already succumbed to her injuries. Nothing could be done for her, and she was declared dead on the scene, the Kempton Express reported.
