Traffic is congested on the M13 in Durban after what appears to be a freak accident that occurred on the busy road on Monday afternoon.
When authorities arrived, they found the vehicle had crashed into a ditch along the side of the road, Highway Mail reported.
According to community activist Andreas Mathios the driver sustained moderate injuries and was “lucky” to not have been more seriously injured.
The motorist has been extracted from the vehicle.
