Watch: Residents loot stationery from truck after crash
Hundreds of residents helped themselves before the authorities came.

Residents from Ezakheni in KwaZulu-Natal looted a truck Friday morning after it crashed, Ladysmith Gazette reports.
The truck was travelling away from Ezakheni, heading towards Ladysmith, when the crash took place.
It is alleged that the driver lost control of the vehicle. The truck overturned, blocking the entire roadway and it was carrying stationery in the form of school books.
Reports indicate that hundreds of people were grabbing what they could from the overturned truck.

Three men were in the vehicle at the time of the crash and were treated on scene by paramedics for slight injuries sustained and were taken to hospital for further medical attention.
Public Safety and police also responded.
The roadway was closed and traffic was diverted away from the scene.
