A video of the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters showing off his dance moves has been doing the rounds and it recently caught the attention of Zindzi Mandela who compared Julius Malema’s moves to that of her late father.
Nelson Mandela’s stiff arm movement had become so popular over the years that it affectionately became known as the “Diba dance”.
While he may not have intended to do the “Diba dance” at first, Malema can be seen below swaying his arms from side to side as Cassper Nyovest’s smash hit Monate Mpolaye blares over the sound system.
He is then goaded into doing the vosho, which he attempts to do but doesn’t pull off successfully.
An amused Zindzi took to Twitter to share the video with the comparison to her late father.
