An eyewitness was able to capture the cash-in-transit heist which took place on the N4 Crocodile Gorge on camera in Mpumalanga.
It is alleged about ten suspects who were driving in four vehicles, a black Mercedes, two BMWs, one grey and one black, as well as a white bakkie, opened fire at the Fidelity Security armoured bakkie, which was coming from Malalane side and heading towards Mbombela until it came to a halt, Lowvelder reported.
In the video, the suspects are seen running away after bombing the vehicle.
