Police, with the help of the Benoni Community Policing Forum (CPF) and No Jack Vehicle Tracking, arrested two men on Bayley Street, Benoni City Times reports.
Captain Nomsa Sekele, Benoni police spokesperson, said: “Crime prevention members Captain Imber Groesbeek, Sergeant Alex Phohlo and Constable Kulani Mahoi received a lookout for a grey Toyota, which was stolen in Muldersdrift in July last year.”
Two men, aged 38 and 54, were stopped and arrested in Bayley Street, at about 1.30pm.

It has since emerged that the vehicle they were travelling in was used in a theft of a motor vehicle incident outside a school in Farrarmere on May 12.
The suspects will be charged with being in possession of a suspected stolen vehicle, possession of suspected stolen goods and possession of housebreaking implements.
