Police are investigating a murder case after the body of a man was found in Indaba Lane, Muldersdrift, Gauteng.
Police said the brutally murdered man was found in a pool of blood on Wednesday, Krugersdorp News reported.
It is alleged the victim, who has not been identified yet, was killed with a sharp instrument.
He had severe injuries to his throat and had multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
The deceased is believed to be between the ages of 40 and 45.
The deceased was wearing a grey jacket, a brown belt and black shoes.
Muldersdrift Police detectives are urgently requesting the assistance of the community to identify the deceased.
