Two women killed after truck crashes into their home
Netcare 911 says reports from the scene indicate that the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle.

Two women were killed when the driver of a truck lost control of the vehicle and crashed into their house in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, on Friday morning, said Netcare 911.
The two women, who were inside their home at the time of the fatal crash, were declared dead at the scene.
The emergency medical assistance service said the accident happened on Friday morning just before 9.30am at the Phayipini area in Pietermaritzburg.
In a statement, Netcare 911 said reports from the scene indicate that the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle resulting in it crashing into the house.
“Sadly two adult females from the house had sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased on the scene, another two adult male patients from the truck sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital for further treatment,” the statement reads.
Circumstances leading up to the collision are unknown however the SAPS were on scene and will be investigating.
