Two survive horrific crash in Preroria

Two motorists were lucky to escape a horrific crash in the east of Pretoria on  Monday.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said a taxi and a light motor vehicle collided on the corner of Garsfontein and Windsor roads, Rekord East reported.

She said both drivers were stabilised at the scene and transported to hospital for medical care.

“There were no passengers in the taxi at the time of the accident,” said Mathe.

Netcare 911 paramedics worked alongside other services on scene.

Mathe said the cause of the accident was unknown, but police were investigating.
