Two men arrested for stealing goats

The two men were not asked to plead to charges of stock theft when they appeared before White River Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday but were remanded in custody and would appear again in the same court on April 3, Mpumalanga News reports.

Their arrest came after police received a tip-off about them in Primkop farm after they were seen with suspected stolen goats in the area.

Police found goat carcasses in their house which were allegedly stolen from Platsak farm over the weekend.
