Two people burned to death during a collision outside Polokwane, in Limpopo.
The accident occurred late on Saturday night when two motor vehicles, a Range Rover and another vehicle, collided, Review Online reported.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said the one car caught alight and burned to ashes, killing two people, while the Range Rover got damaged beyond repair, seriously injuring two passengers.
“They were taken to hospital for medical treatment,” he said.
Ngoepe said the identities, race and gender of the deceased would be determined through DNA tests.
“The cause of this accident is still unknown, however, police investigations will continue to determine its cause,” added Ngoepe.
