Tourists attacked and robbed at a hotel

They were approached by an armed gang, and all their money and valuables were taken.


Tourists believed to be from Peru, visiting some of the big avo producers in Westfalia, Limpopo, were robbed, Letaba Herald reports.

According to a reliable source the tourists were robbed by an armed gang of all their money, cellphones and other valuables.

Earlier this week, 36 Dutch tourists were robbed while travelling from OR Tambo International Airport to Fourways on a Megabus.

The group, mainly elderly tourists was allegedly followed from the airport, held up by armed men dressed as policemen, taken hostage, beaten and driven to a quiet spot, where they were subsequently robbed of all their valuables, money and luggage.
