A two-year-old toddler is being treated at Netcare Montana Hospital after she was attacked by a dog in Brits.
It is alleged the toddler, Charlaine Guarini, who will turn three on Friday, was attacked by a boerboel on Monday, Rekord North reported.
The dog pushed Guarini to the ground and bit her in her face.
She was rushed to the provincial hospital in Brits, where after she was transported to hospital.
She received 70 stitches.
Guarini was treated at the hospital and had been released on Thursday.
