Rasta teams up with young artists to honour Connie Chiume and Zanele Mbokazi
A portrait gifted to Cyril Ramaphosa, allegedly of Cyril Ramaphosa. Picture: Twitter/Fikile Mbalula
Mzansi portrait art was given another boost on Tuesday when an ANC fan painted this portrait of President Cyril Ramaphosa, who was on the campaign trail in Gauteng.
While ANC head of elections Fikile Mbalula may have been impressed with the painting (or just very diplomatic), Twitterati were a little less blown away, with even the infamous Rasta, often mocked for his depictions of the recently deceased, quickly pointing out he wasn’t responsible this time.
