Where is the outrage from clubs, players over Danny Jordaan? Twitter asks
As Jordaan prepares himself to specifically deny an allegation of rape, social media has questioned the silence from the soccer fraternity.
Jordaan has found himself on the trends list on Twitter after his lawyer said he would release a statement denying claims that he had raped former ANC MP Jennifer Ferguson 23 years ago.
The soccer administration boss has refused to comment since the allegation was made last month, with two more women coming forward with their own alleged experiences of sexual abuse at his hands.
On Twitter, some questioned why Jordaan was seemingly being shielded by the soccer fraternity, as no one was condemning his actions nor debating them.
Others said the silence was deafening and that it was an indication of support for Jordaan instead of the alleged rape victim.
Where is the outrage from clubs and players over Danny Jordaan???
We have dragged others for less.
The silence from EVERYONE is deafening.— Cindy Poluta (@CindyPoluta) October 31, 2017
Danny Jordaan & Jacob Zuma are proof that if you let a criminal get away with 1 crime, he/she will become a serial criminal, getting deeper!

When I saw Danny Jordaan trending I thought he has finally resigned from SAFA. May if these rape allegations gets strong we'd push him

So Danny Jordaan has employed a woman lawyer to deal with the alleged rape. Why do men do this though? To give credence to their case?
