While most of South Africa can expect fine and cool weather on Tuesday, the South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned residents in most of Limpopo to expect isolated showers and thundershowers.
Residents in Musina, Makhado, Giyani and Polokwane, to name a few, can expect a wet Tuesday, according to the weather service.
Gauteng: Partly cloudy and cool. The expected UVB sunburn index: Moderate.
Mpumalanga: Cloudy in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers except the west. it will be warm over the lowveld.
Limpopo: Cloudy in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.
North West: Fine and cool.
Free State: Cloudy with morning fog patches in the east, otherwise fine and cold to cool.
Northern Cape: Morning fog over the southern high ground where it will be cold, otherwise fine and cool. The wind along the coast will be Fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.
Western Cape: Fine and cool but partly cloudy over the eastern interior as well as along the south coast.
The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh southerly and southeasterly becoming strong late afternoon, but moderate southerly to southeasterly along the south coast becoming southeasterly by the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn index: High
Western half of the Eastern Cape: Fine and cool to cold with possible frost in the north in the morning, becoming partly cloudy along the coast in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh south westerly.
Eastern half of the Eastern Cape: Fine and cool to cold with possible frost in the north early morning, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh south westerly.
KwaZulu-Natal: Partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers in the extreme north. The wind along the coast will be Moderate south-westerly. The expected UVB sunburn index:High
