Severe thunderstorm warning issued for parts of KZN and Eastern Cape
Heavy rainfall and flooding is expected to affect parts of both provinces from Saturday afternoon and into the evening.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the the southern parts of KwaZulu-Natal and the eastern, northern and central interior of the Eastern Cape.
There is also a chance of flooding in most parts of KZN on Saturday evening.
Severe thunderstorms are expected in places over the south-eastern interior later today (Saturday). Please stay safe. A cut off low develops tomorrow and is expected to result in flooding due to heavy falls in some areas. Will update on this development later. pic.twitter.com/KAxxoiMqNS

Harry Gwala, Uthukela, Umgungundlovu, Ugu, Ethekwini, Masinga and Umvoti, as well as parts of Mandeni, King Cetshwayo, Eastern Zululand, uMkhanyakude are expected to be adversely affected from Saturday afternoon, continuing through the night.
Motorists and resident are advised to exercise extreme caution.
