The rain will be a relief for many following the hot conditions experienced over the weekend.
According to the South African Weather Service, severe thunderstorms are expected over southwestern Limpopo on Monday afternoon, reports Polokwane Review.
The watch is effective from 1pm to 3pm.

The weather service has cautioned people to stay away from metal objects, not to play sport outside, and to stay indoors should there be a thunderstorm.
