We don’t have a Plan B, Cyril is our only choice, say Cosatu
The labour federation is prepared to back the deputy president against Dlamini-Zuma at the ANC's elective conference in December.

Cosatu will remain aligned with the ANC regardless of who succeeds President Jacob Zuma at the end of the year.
The organisation also said it was confident that Cyril Ramaphosa would be elected by ANC members to become the next head of the ruling party and government. According to The Sowetan, Cosatu general secretary Bheki Ntshalintshali said the federation was not considering a Plan B.
“We have been encouraged by the principled posture of many members of the ANC, who are refusing to be intimidated and silenced from supporting Rampahosa.
“We reject any talk of a Plan B because we support this campaign with the intention to see him win and not lose.”
Ramaphosa is up against Human Settlements Minister Lindiwe Sisulu and former AU chair Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
