The M2 highway between Denver and Benrose in Johannesburg has been closed after a shootout ensued between police and suspects.
According to JoziFM’s Twitter page, it is alleged that the suspects being pursued had just committed a cash-in-transit heist in Ekurhuleni.
It is not yet clear whether the shootout is linked to the cash-in-transit heist that took place earlier today in Boksburg, where two money trucks were allegedly hit.
