WATCH: SABC News anchor calls Zuma ‘Jacob Ramaphosa’

It seems that SABC news anchor Peter Ndoro isn’t the only newsreader at the public broadcaster who is prone to making awkward on air slip-ups.

This time a video of a Venda newsreader has got social media talking after he confused President Cyril Ramaphosa with his predecessor Jacob Zuma. This is despite the SABC having said it would take steps to prevent the re-occurrence of the embarrassing blunders by their newsreaders.

Last week, Ndoro set Twitter abuzz when he mistakenly declared Ramaphosa had died on national television. He has since apologised to the presidency and his apology was accepted. He has also taken a break from television after complaining of fatigue.
