Protesters set alight a truck on the R29 road between Leandra and Kinross in Mpumalanga at about 3pm on Tuesday, reports the Ridge Times.
StratconRisk and Jelani Security had to fight their way through the angry mob to get to the truck loaded with mielies.

They managed to extinguish the fire and save the cargo.
The driver ran off.
