Johannesburg mayor Herman Mashaba has pointed out that loud noisy churches are having a negative impact on youth.
In a video that has surfaced on social media, the mayor criticizes the churches giving people grass, snakes, and using doom in their sermons.
“The most disturbing part about them is the noise levels. They open churches anywhere, be it in the street, be it in a residential area, in a flat apartment – having speakers outside every single day of the week, any hour of the day, when our children need to study.”
The video with more than 3,000 views surfaced on Wednesday morning.
