Watch: Malema cuts ribbon to house EFF built for girl who shares birthday with party

The EFF on Twitter said the party aimed for the house to be a 'lasting gift' for the child.

In celebration of its fourth anniversary, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) built a house for a four-year-old girl who was born on the day the party was created, and on Sunday, Malema cut the ribbon to the home in KwaZulu-Natal.

In a series of tweets on Saturday, the party had announced that EFF leader Julius Malema would open the house on Sunday.

The EFF on Twitter said the party aimed for the house to be a “lasting gift” for the child.

On Sunday, the party tweeted a video of Malema and the little girl cutting the ribbon of the house in Dube Village, Inanda.

The party further shared pictures of the renovated home.
