The dancing traffic warden, who has generated many smiles since a video of her directing traffic while dancing at a Fourways intersection went viral, has earned thanks from Johannesburg MMC for public safety Michael Sun.
The video of the traffic officer has been doing the rounds on social media after Facebook user Murray Kernick uploaded it at around lunchtime on Saturday. By Wednesday afternoon, the video had already been viewed over one million times.

Sun tweeted on Tuesday that he had visited the traffic warden, Dora Mafokeng, in Diepsloot and “thanked her for easing traffic with style”.
He further said, “and now I present you the #Dorarena”, as he tweeted a video of him sharing a dance with Mafokeng and other Johannesburg metro police officers.
