WATCH: BLF marches to KPMG
The Black Land First movement (BLF) says it will take action against KPMG for allegedly covering up 'white monopoly capital' and corruption.
BLF members are pictured ahead of the start of a protest to the KPMG head-offices in Johannesburg, 28 September 2017. The protest follows a groundswell of criticism against the audit firm following its withdrawal of the SARS rogue unit report. Picture: Refilwe Modise
The march commenced at the Civic Theatre in Braamfontein and ended at the KPMG headquarters.
According to BLF, action against KPMG will be taken by laying charges against company as well as calling on government and auditing institutions to cancel all business and licences with KPMG.
“KPMG is the legal official agent of white monopoly capital that’s been hiding a lot of illicit funds, money stolen from Treasury through the likes of Pravin Gordhan,” states AB Letswalo, who is the Gauteng chairperson of the movement.
