Former ANC MP Vytjie Mentor has made shocking claims that President Jacob Zuma was a spy for the apartheid government, saying she dared her detractors to prove her wrong.
Mentor – who shot to the public spotlight in 2016 after she alleged that the controversial Gupta family offered her a ministerial post in exchange for favours – took to Facebook sometime this week claiming that Zuma was a “double-agent and his hands are dripping with blood”.
The outspoken former parliamentarian said on Facebook: “He [Zuma] made deals with the French and Russians to sell out to them for corrupt kickbacks and vowed with them to bring down the ANC and the new SA long before 1994.”
However, it remains unclear whether the post was later deleted on her account or the screenshot of the Facebook post making the rounds on social media is authentic.
Mentor also claimed that she could name “hordes of apartheid spies” currently serving in Cabinet and government.
“Rest in peace Oliver Tambo. I can count a whole village and single out hordes of apartheid spies in his [Zuma] cabinet and his administration. Now he sleeps with the Canadians, Indians and everyone that wants to hold down our once-prospering and very promising country.
“Let them call me insane again. And I dare them to kill me or harm anyone in my family. He must tell us who was behind the assassination of Dulcie September in Paris (French Connection) and the letter-bomb that killed Ruth First in Mozambique where he was an ANC Rep. He must tell us about Chris Hani too. I challenge (sic).”
