Plane crashes in Midrand, three injured

Netcare911 paramedics initially reported that a helicopter crashed in Randjesfontein, Midrand, Gauteng, but it now appears that it was not a helicopter but a light aircraft.

In a subsequent update, Netcare911 reported that the light aircraft that crashed along King Willow Crescent and three men were critically injured.

At least one of the critically injured men has been airlifted to a specialised hospital.
