Twitter reacts to Thabo Mbeki’s critical comments on the ANC
During his speech at Wits University, Mbeki slammed the ANC for becoming self-serving and making a mistake by linking party and government positions.

Mbeki’s speech was welcomed by guests at an event to commemorate the life of ANC leader Oliver Tambo at Wits University.
In his speech, Mbeki directly made references to the ANC, stating that the party had become filled with leaders who were self-enriching and corrupt and did not put the needs of the people first.
“I believe that the best way to honour Oliver Tambo… would be to live up to the example he has set by always being loyal to the truth; by always being loyal to principle and the historic value system of the ANC; by defeating the rapacious and predatory value system and the related leadership which are holding the ANC hostage. By helping to unite the ANC and the rest of the progressive movement and the people as a whole around the realistic program toward achieving the goal of a better life for all,” he said.

Thabo Mbeki respected the rule of law, at no point did he outsource his constitutional work to a corrupt family, so give him a break haters.

I want someone to attempt to critique President Thabo Mbeki without raising reference to "They too are doing it" or "What did you do?"

South Africans romanticize Thabo Mbeki bruh. Even FW De Klerk is made to be seen as a hero. Years from now Zuma will be our new Mandela.
