Following a marathon meeting of the ANC’s top structure in the early hours of Tuesday morning, which resolved to recall President Jacob Zuma as head of state, South Africans have been giving their reaction to the latest developments surrounding Zuma’s future.
It is believed that the ANC’s national executive committee (NEC) – the party’s highest decision-making structure between conferences – will order Zuma to step down after he refused the top six officials’ request for him to resign voluntarily.
