According to reports, the N2 was reopened in both directions.

Motorists are warned to proceed with the utmost caution.

Due to the protest action along Louis Fourie Road, Dana Bay residents are running the gauntlet along the N2 to get into the CBD from the Langeberg Mall.

The truck was set alight on the N2.

This has resulted in major traffic jams along Louis Fourie Road from the mall. According to field reporters, the traffic is free flowing from Hartenbos up to the mall, but virtually stationary from the mall in both directions.
