Suspected robber shot dead in attempted Pretoria house robbery

The incident appears to be an attempted house robbery, paramedics said.

Shortly before 7pm, ER24 paramedics were called to the scene and found the 28-year-old man had been treated and stabilised, ER24 spokeswoman Annine Siddall said.

“He sustained a moderate injury to his arm and was transported to a nearby hospital. The suspected robber, a man believed to be in his 20s, was declared dead by other emergency services on [the] scene. Local authorities attended the scene and will conduct an investigation,” Siddall said.
