Eskom board chairperson Jabu Mabuza will testify at the commission of inquiry into state capture on Friday, and his statement is expected to implicate former top executives at the power utility.
Those expected to be implicated by Mabuza’s statement before the commission includes Anoj Singh, Sean Maritz, Suzanne Daniels, Abram Masango, and Matshela Koko, among others.
The commission’s evidence leader, advocate Vincent Maleka, said notices have been sent to those implicated in Mabuza’s statement, however, they have yet to respond or apply to cross-examine the Eskom board chair.
