PICS: Lesufi, Makhura among those commemorating Soweto uprising on Youth Day

The Premier and MEC honoured ‘the memories of our young heroes and heroines’ at the Hector Pieterson Memorial on Sunday.

Premier David Makhura delivered the keynote address at an event to honour those who fell during the 1976 Soweto Uprising at the Hector Pieterson Memorial Museum in Soweto on Sunday. Nigel Sibanda was there.
