Celebs get icy for White Walker by Johnnie Walker

In collaboration with HBO and Game of Thrones, Johnnie Walker South Africa launched the new White Walker by Johnnie Walker on Wednesday at Shepstone Gardens. This limited-edition Scotch Whisky is inspired by the most enigmatic and feared characters on the hit show – the White Walkers – and is here for fans to enjoy as excitement builds towards the final season.
The glamorous event boasted celebrities like Anele Mdoda who graced the event as the MC, Enhle Mbali, Reason, Langa Mavuso, Ayanda Thabethe, Knaomi, Proverb, Slikour, Zulu Mkhathini, Michelle Mosalakae, Lunga Shabalala, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Sandile Ntshingila.
As the doors opened at Shepstone, guests entered the winter wonderland atmosphere of the hit TV series. Waiters dressed in Game of Thrones-inspired outfits served the delicious liquid which is best served directly from the freezer. The icy sculptures and activation stations around the venue complimented the icy décor settings.
This is the most anticipated season of Game of Thrones that is making waves on social media worldwide, and what an amazing and unique way of collaborating with the world’s most iconic whisky brand. The hype and excitement of the show was highlighted at the event with Dragon Lovers and People from the North alike mingling and talking about their favourite characters. There was an exciting line-up with Anele as host (die-hard fan), Muzi performing on stage as well as DBN GOGO and Ayanda MVP.

White Walker by Johnnie Walker will be available in major national retailers, including airports, starting April 2019 with the RSP of R399 for 750ml (43% ABV).
