SA imagines life after elections with #WhatIfIFPWins

Twitter believes life will be all about Brentwood, iBeshu, and Zulu names for everything.

The prevailing question in the lead up to the 2019 elections for many South Africans is who to vote for? But with a record 48 parties registered to contest Wednesday’s elections, we are more spoiled for choice than ever before.

Avid supporters of the so-called “big three” already know where their loyalties lie but the state of affairs we as a country find ourselves living in has some South Africans considering lending their vote to one of the other 45 parties.

The Inkhata Freedom Party (IFP) is one of the options on the table but what would South Africa under the guidance of the IFP look like?

According to a few creative locals on Twitter, this is how life under an IFP government would be:

Not everyone took to kindly to the jokes as some felt as though they were heavily steeped in stereotypes about Zulu people.
