WATCH: ‘Prisoner’ threatens to ‘painfully’ deal with Mampintsha in prison
The man in prison uniform has asked when Babes Wodumo's alleged abuser will be arrested.

A video of a prisoner sharing his thoughts on the Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo court case left social media users wondering if prisoners had a better life than South Africans living in poverty.
In the video, the prisoner threatens to deal with Mampintsha if he joins him in prison, though it was unclear which prison he was speaking from.
He said: “This boy who beat up beautiful Babes, when is he coming in? When is he joining us so we can deal with him painfully? We will finish his mkhaba, he must come in here. A person hits women deserves to be arrested, nothing else. He must come here and find other men like him. Mampintsha, stop women abuse.”

However, the video divided opinions, with some saying Mampintsha deserved what was coming to him, while others questioned how a prisoner had a smartphone and earphones.
Twitter user @StanfordMolokom said: “Our jails are so nice that the inmates are in the public domain discussing wrong and right. On taxpayers’ account. No wonder crime is so high,” while @smarties404 said: “The scums in jail must never pretend to be better. They are rapists, murderers and hijackers. They are not there because they are good citizens. They’re there because they are scums. They are not there to deliver justice. They are not heroes.”
A video in which singer and dancer Babes Wodumo can be seen being beaten, allegedly by her partner Mampintsha, had South Africa seething on Monday morning.
He has been accused of beating her before.
The footage is apparently from a live Instagram video broadcast she was doing with fans overnight.
Although she or someone else allegedly deleted the original video, clips of it have nevertheless been doing the rounds, especially on Twitter, where the videos had been trending all morning.
Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa was quick to condemn violence against women on Monday, saying he was “absolutely horrified” by the “senseless act” and encouraged Wodumo to lay charges against Mampintsha, a member of the award-winning Kwaito group Big Nuz.
She has since opened a case against him.
