Norma Gigaba: There is a new plot to vilify me and my family

She says her family is 'unshaken' about a possible scandal that is in the making.

Former finance minister Malusi Gigaba’s wife, Norma, took to social media on Monday to tell South Africans about a new plot which she believed was created to vilify her and her family. Without revealing much, Norma said that although we thought her husband’s leaked video was the last ‘attack’ her family would endure, there was more to come.

She said she was, however, “unshaken” as God would fight this one too.

She said: “I know of a plot to vilify me. The attack on me and my family has been going on for years now and does not seem to relent. My strength intermediates evildoers, there is a new one in the cooking. We are unshaken…Our God is a living God, he will fight this war for us as always. Bring it on Satan.”

Malusi was recently hit with a sex tape scandal that eventually led to his resignation.

In a statement, he said he resigned “after a long period of sustained and vitriolic public attacks on my integrity”.

“I wish to state that my resignation is not an admission of guilt on my part.

“The integrity and public standing of the government and the African National Congress, of which I am a loyal and proud member, is more important than any political office bearer.”
