Nine pages later, she got suspended anyway.


Former DA leader Helen Zille, who is still the Western Cape premier, was suspended from all DA party activities on Wednesday.

She had been given 72 hours to provide reasons for why she should not be suspended.

Despite writing a very lengthy document, it was all to no avail as the party suspended her anyway.
