Ramaphosa to answer questions in parly on Thursday

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will have a slightly easier day on Thursday when he answers questions for the second time in two weeks in the National Assembly.

Ramaphosa has six questions to answer.

Possibly the most controversial are how many times beleaguered Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini has been in the House and attended committee meetings and what steps have been taken to scupper xenophobic attacks.

Added to this is how the state intended to tackled gang and drug-related violence.

Last week Ramaphosa was grilled over minimal wages and his take on the health ombudsman report on Esidimeni-related deaths of over 100 mental health patients.

Questions on the financial stability of SAA and security concerns in parliament following violence inside the National Assembly have also been asked.
