A private plane crash-landed at the Wonderboom National Airport in the north of Pretoria on Sunday, reports the Pretoria North Rekord.
According to Sinoville Community Policing Forum deputy chairperson, Vernon Smith the accident happened around 3pm.
“The pilot took off and something went wrong after which he immediately went back down to land,” Smith said.
According to Smith, the landing gear skidded on the runway.
“It is not yet known what caused the failure,” Smith said.
