Loate SAPS are investigating a case of murder after a ward councillor was allegedly shot and killed by unknown suspects in Winterveld, north of Pretoria, on Wednesday night.
According to SAPS, the ward councillor was travelling with two children and a passenger when he was shot.

The councillor was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The whereabouts of the suspects are unclear, and the name of the ward councillor has not yet been released.
