Pretoria CBD mall hit by cash-in-transit heist
The robbers reportedly pretended to be customers at a store.

A group of men made away with an undisclosed amount of money after a cash-in-transit (CIT) heist in the centre of Pretoria on Monday morning, Pretoria East Rekord reports.
The robbers, who pretended to be customers, approached the guards who were on their way to collect money from a store in Bloed Street, according to a source.

“No shots were fired, and there was no explosion,” said the source.
No further information is available, but the Hawks’ elite police unit confirmed that a statement will be released later today.
