A report in tabloid Sunday World alleges that an unnamed premier allegedly raped a young woman who was trying to apply for a job in his office.
The woman, who was not named, reportedly dropped this bombshell while talking at an empowerment programme event at the Lord’s Signature Hotel in Meyerton, Johannesburg, last Sunday evening.
The event was organised by singer Lebo Sekgobela.
The woman claimed she had taken her CV to the premier’s office, and was promptly raped by the man shortly after she stepped into his “oval office”.
She claimed he pushed her on to the table and raper her without a condom – apparently in full view of his bodyguards.
He allegedly threatened her to keep her mouth shut and gave her taxi fare to leave. The young woman begged attendees to keep the story to themselves. She also did not say which premier it had been or whether he is still in office.
Sekgobela also told the attendees she had been raped twice herself over a three-year period while she was a child in Sebokeng, Ekurhuleni.
The first incident was with a neighbour in a school toilet when she was eight; then when she was 11 the perpetrator was allegedly her sister’s friend. She told Sunday World that one of the men had since died.
