Peter de villiers joins GOOD
As South Africa’s more established parties call on stalwarts such as Thabo Mbeki and Tony Leon to do their bidding, Patricia De Lille’s newly established GOOD party has opted to go a different route.
De Lille has called on the former coach of the national rugby team to publicly pledge his allegiance to her party in addition to urging voters to make their way to the polls on May 8.
In a video posted on Twitter, De Villiers can be seen wearing a shirt that reads “VOTE GOOD” in front of a branded party banner.
He goes on to explain why he supports the party, stating that many hard-working South Africans do not receive due acknowledgement for their labour.
“South Africa will be a great nation when it learns to place equal value on its people regardless of colour,” said De Villiers.
