2023 predictions for SA’s political parties according to the ‘ancestors’

Mmathabo Seabo’s ancestral guide DadulaMazwe interpreted a powerful message for South Africa, and its politicians, after praying and throwing the bones to determine what lies ahead for the nation in 2023.

Divination took place a few days after the ANC electoral conference and DadulaMazwe said that the organisation must reflect and dig deep to seek out its original purpose and goals.

The factionalised organisation, the ancestors said, has lost its way and “needs to return to its roots.” The outcome should it not, will not be positive for the liberation movement.

DadulaMazwe said: “We are all scattered. We are all thinking differently. Everybody wants their piece of something. And the ancestors are saying we must all come back together. Come back together and understand what you want.

“The world needs to shut down, to be quiet. To listen. All we are doing is based on greed, saying ‘I want this and that’. Everybody wants a piece of everything. Hence, we are going through what we are going
through today.”

This refers to the feeding frenzy at the trough of public funds and greed and selfish behaviour that DadulaMazwe suggested many South Africans are entrapped by.

It’s time that corruption is punished, DadulaMazwe added.

And quickly. The bones showed: “They should feel the pinch if they have done wrong. Everybody that has done wrong must get punished for the wrongdoing that they have done.”

Political turmoil in 2023?

The bigger picture shows a lot of political turmoil up ahead for the country, leading up to the 2024 elections. But the poll’s outcome is not clear, according to the ancestors.

By June next year it would be clear whether the ANC will manage to hold onto power, or whether a coalition government would walk the hallways of parliament, DadulaMazwe said.

The bones also showed that there will be no significant increase in violence in 2023. But it seems as if the country will continue to face socioeconomic challenges for some time to come.

This will be a consequence both of continued global instability, as well as local conditions and the waterfall cascaded influence from external factors, DadulaMazwe said.

The reading noted: “There’s a lot of wrong things that we are doing as a nation and as a globe. There’s a lot that is happening on earth as it is.

“That is also upsetting the ancestors. A major change in our ways is required.”

DadulaMazwe has a message each for the three leaders of South Africa’s major political parties.

Message for party leaders

For President Ramaphosa the ancestors said: “Change your ways. Know what you want. Know your vision. Know your mission. Understand where you are going.

“Start connecting with the people who had a say or who have voted for you. The ruling party needs to just start changing its ways. That is what their ancestors want.”

The seer also saw a bright future ahead for the EFF and Julius Malema because he speaks the language of the youth.

The ancestors show Malema as a powerful and charismatic leader whose voice is essential in the political mix, and whose rabble-rousing can keep checks and balances while agitating for change, particularly for the poor and disaffected youth.

John Steenhuisen of the Democratic Alliance is safe in his position as party leader, for now, DadulaMazwe said.

But he needs to consolidate party support behind him. It’s not there now, but he has the potential to grow into a leader of significance.

The ancestors likened his charisma and conviction to Malema, and his potential to unite his constituency behind the party.
