African Content Movement (ACM) leader Hlaudi Motsoeneng has said he is attempting to engage Jacob Zuma to “show him the importance of joining a movement that is going to stand for what he also believes in.”
According to the Sunday Independent, Motsoeneng believes that the possibility exists for the former president to be lured away from the ANC to the ACM as a number of his supporters in the Mazibuye African Congress (MAC) have joined the ACM’s ranks.
Motsoeneng has explained that due to comments by President Cyril Ramaphosa, and finance minister Tito Mboweni, Zuma must know he is not popular among the current ANC leaders.
